Here, at Titirangi Smiles, we use Dysport.(Galderma, A Botulinum Toxin A).
Dysport is a neuromodulator designed to relax muscles. By injecting small amounts strategically into the chosen areas, we can temporarily stop muscles from contracting. This naturally allows the overlying skin to smooth out. We can also use the same muscle relaxant to help reduce tension headaches and effects of clenching and grinding muscles of the jaw.
A detailed consultation and planning session is required initially. Once you have had all your questions answered we can ensure predictable and accurate results with minimal side effects. The treatment is quick with minimal discomfort and initial results can be noticed at days 3-7 with full results being realised at 7-10 days.
We always have an in-person review about 10 days after initial treatment to ensure the best outcome, for you to enjoy for up to 6 months.
